KTV Star FAQ

Can I bring my own backing tracks?

You are more than welcome to bring your own backing tracks on CD, DVD or on your MP3player.

Can I use real song. Will you remove the vocals?

We do not this. Although it is possible, removing vocals from the artists original song can be done,  it badly effects the music quality.  We do not recommend using this inferior material in your recording experience. It also infringes on copyright laws.

Can you change the key?

Yes, we can change the key to fit your voice, with minimal effect on the track's quality.

How can I make the most of my recording session?

  • Choose backing tracks that you can sing easily.
  • For easy rehearsing get your own backing tracks before the session.
  • Print the lyrics of your chosen songs so that they can easily be read.
  • Try not to use too many pages, as turning the pages can disturb the recording.
  • Bring a water bottle for in the studio. Do not drink cola or coffee before the session.
  • Give yourself plenty of time to get here so you are relaxed at your arrival.
  • Rehearse your chosen songs, the more the better!
  • Mark your lyric sheet with breathing points - where the original singer breaths between lyrics.

  • Count the number of beats before the singing should start, and mark this too on your lyric sheet.
